Us v/s Them
This game is still being developed. It draws inspiration from the 1954 Movie Them! . I’m working on the design as well as engineering side for this project.
The screen captures below show the sky dome I recently put in.
As for engineering, I have written a decal management system for bullet holes and other effects in the world. It displays the effect for a certain amount of time. Then, when its use has run out all resources that the effect used are freed, to put it simply.
Stay tuned for more on this game!
Lockdown
This is a tactical first person shooter for the PC platform developed for Sandia National Laboratories. I was pipeline lead for this project. My responsibilities included pushing graphics technology by implementing advanced material script and shader programs, environment design and stream-lining the flow of 3-D assets for this ambitious game.
Mobile Assassins
Mobile Assassins is a mobile game designed on the J2ME platform.
My role was lead engineer for the client-side (includes game, bluetooth and sound implementation) for this 2D side-scrolling mobile game developed in J2ME. A web-server stores the state of the current round along with other information and statistics; which are communicated to the clients at the time of game startup. An assassin challenges a victim to a game via bluetooth. The outcome of the game is then sent back to the web-server.
